Former UGA basketball stud Kentavious Caldwell-Pope has signed a two-year, $16 million deal to return to the Los Angeles Lakers. Following Kawhi Leonard’s decision to sign with the Los Angeles Clippers, the Los Angeles Lakers had to execute their back up plan in NBA Free Agency. Ramona Shelburne was the first to report the news:
The Lakers signed shooting guard Danny Green to a two-year deal in addition to KCP. Lakers fans are upset they missed out on Kawhi Leonard, but the Los Angeles Clippers had to give up haul in order to acquire Leonard’s newest partner in crime: Paul George.
