Recently, incoming Georgia tailback Kenny McIntosh told DawgNation about some negative recruiting experiences with other top schools before his decision to join the Dawgs, and how these experiences have motivated him to prove the doubters wrong in the upcoming season.
It started when McIntosh’s father Richard got his hands on an Alabama recruiting list that had his son listed as a “second tier” recruit, which obviously isn’t the most flattering category to be in.
About his experience with Alabama, Kenny said, “one of the coaches said, ‘If you come here we’re going to win, and if you don’t, we’re still going to win,’ and that’s how they came off…Coach (Kirby) Smart didn’t and doesn’t come off like that.
