both were arrested on felony charges Tuesday morning for reported actions involving a BB gun.

Both were released around 11:30 a.m. on $2,000 bond. Coach Kirby Smith was scheduled to talk to the media after practice ended.

With Rochester absent from practice, the Bulldogs had just six defensive linemen going through drills. Sophomore defensive tackle DaQuan Hawkins was back on the practice field in a non-contact jersey and wearing a brace on this left knee. Smith had said he wasn’t sure if Hawkins would be back this spring; Hawkins suffered an MCL injury in the Bulldogs’ first Saturday scrimmage of the spring and missed all of last week’s practices.
