Saturday couldn’t have gone any better for the Florida Gators. Jim McElwain’s team came out and dominated the rival Georgia Bulldogs, winning 27-3 and putting themselves in the driver’s seat for the SEC East championship. A win this weekend over Vanderbilt will send the Gators to Atlanta for the SEC Championship Game, their first appearance in that game since 2009.
McElwain met with the media on Monday, where he talked about that big rivalry win and was quick to not put the cart before the horse as far as winning the division goes:
