This week, Pro Football Focus released its rankings of all 130 FBS starting quarterbacks.
Jake Fromm, who has been considered a top-five quarterback by just about every media outlet this offseason, checked in at No. 9 on the list.
That’s awfully surprising when you consider Fromm’s experience, success and statistics over his past two seasons. Sure, maybe he’s behind Tua Tagovailoa and Trevor Lawrence, but I’d take him over most of the guys ranked above him.
At No. 1 on the list is Clemson’s Lawrence, and Tagovailoa at No. 2.
Other players who ranked ahead of Fromm on the list are (in order of 3-8): Oregon’s Justin Herbert, Houston’s D’Eriq King, North Texas’ Mason Fine, Texas’ Sam Ehlinger, Stanford’s K.
