It’s ‘Rivalry Week,’ so why aren’t these rivalry games being played?

This is “Rivalry Week” in college football, and if you’re a fan, it’s a big deal. A huge deal. A gigantic deal.

There is absolutely nothing like walking into a stadium for a rivalry game, no matter if the teams involved are 11-0, 6-5 or 0-11. Rivalry games mean bragging rights for 365 days, and when you can crow for 365 days about anything and there is no legitimate comeback from the person you’re crowing to – there just ain’t nothing like it.
