Georgia kicker Rodrigo Blankenship and safety JR Reed will return to Athens for senior year in 2019, after many of their teammates announced departures to the NFL.
Blankenship, a 3-star out of Sprayberry High School, has become one of the most accurate kickers in the country. He has not missed an extra point since his freshman season and very rarely misses field goal attempts either.
As for Reed, the former 3-star out of Prestonwood Christian High School has 145 total tackles in his career at Georgia and is a leader on defense.
The return of both Blankenship and Reed will help the Bulldogs tremendously next season, with the departures of Isaac Nauta, Riley Ridley, Mecole Hardman and Elijah Holyfield.
