Friday saw the return of high school football to the state of Georgia, and much of the rest of the country. Several Bulldog commits and prospects were in action and showed exactly why they've garnered so much recruiting attention.
Tarheel state tight end commit Garrett Walston snagged 6 catches for 107 yards and a touchdown. Rabun County receiver and fellow commitment Charlie Woerner's team fell 19-7 to Jefferson (which got 260 yards on the ground from sophomore back Colby Wood). Woerner had a frustrating night, dropping some passes and finishing with a relatively pedestrian 46 yards on 5 catches.
