Five-star quarterback Justin Fields committed to Georgia on Friday, and while that surprised some because Georgia already has highly touted quarterbacks Jacob Eason and Jake Fromm on campus, his high school coach says Fields will shrug that off.
“Justin Fields loves competition,” Matt Dickmann, his coach at Kennesaw (Ga.) Harrison, told GN. “He loves to compete against the best. Competition will never deter him, wherever he is. When he went to the Nike Opening, he wanted to be the best and he went out there and proved he was the best. More than anything, Justin thrives on competition.
