ATHENS, Ga. – When Kirby Smart was hired to become Georgia’s head coach last December, the first personnel move he made was to bring Glenn Schumann with him from Alabama.
And while he has yet to coach a game, he’s already made an impression on a few coaches and players already.
“I think he’s a guru,” sophomore linebacker Roquan Smith said earlier this week. “He’s very smart and knows his stuff like the back of his hand. He’s pretty good with it.”
But for Schumann to already receive such acclaim shouldn’t come as too much of a surprise.
