Former Virginia Cavalier and graduate transfer Greyson Lambert has joined the “wide open” competition for the Georgia Bulldogs’ starting quarterback’s job. Head football coach Mark Richt informed Seth Emerson of the Atlanta Journal-Constitution of the development.
Lambert will be competing with Brice Ramsey and Faton Bauta for the starting quarterback’s job. Both men backed up Hutson Mason last season.
Speaking about Lambert, Richt did nothing but heap praise.
“He’s a very mature guy. He’s already been a starter. He’s already been in a game and been hit in the mouth,” Richt said.
