Georgia running back Nick Chubb met with the Tampa Bay Bucs on Wednesday according to Josh Norris, a Rotoworld & NBC Sports NFL Draft Writer & Fantasy Analyst.
BucsWire gave their take on Chubb to Tampa Bay:
The Bucs are currently slated to start Peyton Barber at running back according to ESPN’s Jenna Laine. Barber and Chubb are similar in size though Chubb is more athletic and had far more collegiate experience and success.
Drafting Chubb would upgrade the Bucs’ current running back situation. However his lack of experience as a third-down back and his injury history makes it unlikely he is their main option to address their running back needs.
