Georgia’s lethal receiving corps gets deadlier with five star transfer

The Georgia Bulldogs’ loaded receiving corps got an additional boost of speed on Saturday when former Cal wide receiver and Savannah native Demetris Robertson announced his commitment to the Red and Black via YouTube.

A former five-star prospect and the #1 rated athlete in the class of 2016 chose Georgia over Alabama and Texas among others.

His potential impact in Athens should have Bulldog fans excited. During his 2016 true freshman season Robertson grabbed 50 passes for 767 yards and 7 touchdowns. To put that in perspective, Isaiah McKenzie led the 2016 Bulldogs with 44 catches for 633 yards and 7 touchdowns (albeit not in former Cal coach Sonny Dykes’ wide open offense).
