Georgia’s Jonathan Ledbetter arrested again on alcohol-related charges

Georgia defensive end Jonathan Ledbetter was arrested for the second time in five months on alcohol-related charges Sunday morning.

Ledbetter, a sophomore, was booked into the Athens-Clarke County jail at 6:05 a.m. on charges of driving under the influence of alcohol and underage possession of alcohol. He was still incarcerated until at least 10 a.m. this morning, when this story was published.

Ledbetter’s bond has been for $2,000 – $1,500 for the DUI charge and $500 for the underage possession charge.

In March, Ledbetter was arrested for possession of false identification and underage possession of alcohol, though the charges were later thrown out.
