While Jim Harbagh has made headlines for new ideas this offseason, Georgia Bulldogs head coach Kirby Smart is thinking up innovations of his own.
Saturday, Georgia's top 50 players of the class of 2019 — who are finishing up their freshman year of high school if you're doing the math — will all be in Athens for the event, which is a first for freshman prospects.
According to DawgNation, the idea came from former Grayson High coach Kenyatta Watson, in part because his son is one of the 50 invitees.
It's a great way to build connections with players early in their high school careers.
