Georgia’s defense held the Auburn Tigers’ offense scoreless for about almost three and a half quarters Saturday before Gus Mahlzahn’s unit scored twice in the final ten minutes of the game.
However, it wasn’t enough as the No. 4 Georgia Bulldogs defeated the Tigers 21-14 on their home turf in Jordan-Hare Stadium.
“We were down 21-0 and it didn’t look good, and we fought back and really had some chances,” said Malzahn at his postgame press conference.
