ATHENS, Ga. — Georgia center Brandon Kublanow is choosing to remain mum about a cut block that injured Tennessee defensive tackle Shy Tuttle last season. The play — the result of which was a broken leg for Tuttle — angered Vols coach Butch Jones and UT fans.
“I’m not going to talk about it,” Kublanow said. “I’m going to focus on the 2016 game.”
The injury happened on a running play by Georgia’s Sony Michel; Kublanow had Tuttle blocked off before pulling off the cut block. Kublanow hit Tuttle’s thigh, then landed on his left leg while it was planted in the ground.
