University of Georgia wide receiver Justin Scott-Wesley has had knee surgery and the rising senior should be ready for the start of the 2015 season. Seth Emerson of the Atlanta Journal-Constitution reported the story.
This isn’t the first time that the rising senior has had knee issues. Scott-Wesley tore his ACL back in 2013 and has not been the same since. Last season, he had just three receptions for 52 yards and a touchdown. In three seasons with the Bulldogs, Scott-Wesley has 25 receptions for 498 yards and four touchdowns. It is unclear whether or not this operation is on the same knee that suffered the torn ACL.
