Georgia wide receiver Colbie Young was arrested early Tuesday morning on misdemeanor charges of battery and assault of an unborn child, according to Athens-Clarke County Jail records.
Young, from Binghamton New York, was being held without bond, according to jail records. He was booked into the detention center at 4:18 a.m. ET.
Further details of the incident weren't yet available, according to an Athens-Clarke County Police Department spokesman.
