The injury bug continues to affect senior wide receiver Tery Godwin II for the Georgia Bulldogs. After missing week 1 against Austin Peay with a leg injury, Godwin again heads to the sidelines, probably for the day.
Georgia’s veteran wide receiver was seen limping to the locker room at halftime, with a bag of ice around his left leg, said DawgNation’s Chip Towers.
Head coach Kirby Smart told Towers that Godwin had a lingering “calf strain,” which he suffered before the Austin Peay game.
The Bulldogs have so much depth on the offensive side of the ball that Godwin’s injury will make a very minimal impact in today’s contest.
