JACKSONVILLE — Georgia’s three-year losing streak to Florida is over. The Bulldogs cruised to a 42-7 rout Saturday afternoon at EverBank Field.
The Bulldogs featured a powerful rushing attack (292 yards) and a fierce pass rush (five sacks), and forced two turnovers. All in all, the game went as well as could be expected.
Here are five takeaways from the easy win.
Georgia wins with the running game again
Freshman QB Jake Fromm only needed to throw seven passes, completing four for 101 yards and a TD. He didn’t need to throw because the rushing attack was dominant.
