Georgia hit the trifecta on Sunday with commitments from three of the nation’s top recruits.
The Dawgs added their fifth five-star recruit and moved into the second position behind Alabama for the nation’s No. 1 class in 2019. Five-star running back John Emery Jr. from Destrehan High, Louisiana was the first to commit, followed by four-star wide receiver Makiya Tongue (University Lab in Baton Rouge, La.) and Wekiva High’s (Apopka, FL) four-star linebacker Rian Davis.
Georgia now has 16 commits, 5 fewer than Alabama and 6 fewer than No. 3 Texas A&M. The Bulldogs’ recruits average a leading 94.
