The Georgia men’s basketball program picked up the highest-rated commitment in its history Monday, with the addition of Anthony Edwards.
A five-star guard out of Holy Spirit Preparatory School, Edwards ranks No. 2 in the nation and No. 1 at the shooting guard position. On top of this, the 6’5 Georgia commit is ranked No. 1 in the state.
Adding Edwards helped boost the Bulldogs in the 2019 recruiting rankings, all the way up to No. 12. Per 247 Sports, the five-star guard, along with Jaykwon Walton and Toumani Camara gives Georgia an average of 0.
