When Shyheim Carter de-committed from the Crimson Tide last month, the popular opinion seemed to be that Georgia had a strong chance to land him. Jeremy Pruitt increased his pursuit of Carter after the de-commitment and he hasn’t been shy about letting Carter know he’s wanted in Athens.
“He’s been recruiting me pretty hard, especially when I de-committed from Alabama. He wants me there bad. He just feels I can bring a whole different level to the team. They want me to play corner. He knows what he’s talking about. I’ll give him that.
