Georgia Recruiting: 2018 QB Trevor Lawrence, “It’s pretty much just UGA and Clemson”

Throw the ball. That’s what any pro-style quarterback wants to do when he’s on the field.

That and win.

Trevor Lawrence (Cartersville, Ga.) did a lot of both this year as he led his team to an 11-0 record–passing for 2922 yards and 40 touchdowns in the process.

It’s no secret Georgia wants Lawrence, but he’s been tight-lipped about his intentions, and it’s anyone’s guess where he’ll land.

What we know is he likes Clemson and UGA and, of the two, UGA appears to be the better fit because they run a balanced offense (using a pro-style quarterback), where the mobility of the quarterback is less important than his ability to extend the play by being able to move well in the pocket.
