The Georgia Bulldogs have been settled at the kicking position for quite some time. A steady trail of NFL-level talent has walked into and out of Sanford Stadium during Head Coach Mark Richt’s tenure—with Marshall Morgan likely being another before it’s all said and done, despite a few hiccups along the way—but the punting position has been less reliable; after the exit of All-American Drew Butler (currently playing in the NFL), the Bulldogs have struggled to find a suitable replacement.
That said, it would be nice to see the Bulldogs sign a kid who can come in and be consistent at that position and Blake Gillikin (Atlanta, GA) certainly has the leg to make a case for him being that guy.
