It’s shaping up to be a good week in Athens as we approach G-Day on Saturday, and the recruits are apparently feeling it as well.
Georgia got things rolling today as it picked up a commitment from 2020 four-star cornerback Jalen Kimber, out Masfield Timberview High School in Arlington, Texas.
Kimber (6-1, 180 lbs.) ranks as the nation’s 239th overall player, 16th cornerback and 32nd player in the state of Texas.
He is Georgia’s sixth commit in the 2020 class. His commitment moved Georgia up from No. 15 to No. 9 in the nation.
Ahead of a massive recruiting weekend for Kirby Smart and the Dawgs, this should get the momentum going.
