Sony Michel is one of the three talented Georgia Bulldogs running backs that are seeing action in their season opener against the Louisiana Monroe Warhawks. He is behind Nick Chubb on the depth chart and splits possessions with Keith Marshall as Chubb’s primary backup.
Georgia’s offense line allows any running back to be successful.
They use their running backs on the ground like traditional running backs are used, but they also use them in short passes. Michel showed that off on a 31-yard screen pass for a touchdown to extend Georgia’s lead to 35-0 over their easy opening opponent.
