For high school recruits who do not have those sought after stars next to their name, Georgia running back Brian Herrien is here to tell you not to worry.
“I didn’t have 3 or 4 or 5 stars nor did I care to get them, or attend those 247/Rivals, opening camps,” Herrien tweeted. “I played on my football team and made it to Georgia with 0 starts … stars & camps don’t matter.”
Herrien committed to Georgia as a 0-star recruit out of New Manchester High School in Douglasville, Georgia. He did not attend camps and he tweeted that he had no interest in how many stars followed his name on recruiting websites.
