MACON, Ga.— The high school football season could not have started any better than it did in Thursday’s opening game did for Warner Robins (Ga.) Houston County quarterback Jake Fromm. Fromm, who has committed to Georgia, finished game one of the Corky Kell Classic with 414 yds passing and four touchdowns in his team’s 26-14 win over Forsyth (Ga.) Mary Persons.
Fromm’s precision bordered on surgical from the start. He finished the first half with 256 yards passing and the four touchdowns.
Fromm, a four-star prospect, said he felt comfortable all night.
“I had a great connection with my receivers,” Fromm said.
