Georgia QB Jake Fromm continues to get ‘a little more confidence’ each week

ATHENS, Ga. – Georgia true freshman quarterback Jake Fromm is coming off the first 300-yard game of his career, and Bulldogs coach Kirby Smart said Monday that he has become increasingly comfortable with what Fromm has been able to show on the field.

“He’s getting a little more confidence,” Smart said. “He’s making good decisions. He understands the game, knows where to go with the ball and sees coverages well.”

Fromm threw for a career-high 326 yards and tossed two TD passes in the Bulldogs’ 53-28 victory over Missouri on Saturday. Fromm also threw a pick in the first quarter, but that was one of the few bad plays by the freshman, who was 18-of-26 against the Tigers.
