Yesterday, we saw the Dawgs dominate up and down the field for three-and-a-half quarters against a quality opposition. The scoreboard may have only shown that Georgia beat Florida by one score, but that doesn’t tell the whole story.
Maybe the Bulldogs didn’t play a totally flawless game, but it’s the most mistake-free I’ve seen the Dawgs play against a ranked team in years. It makes it so much sweeter not only knowing it was against the Gators, but that the resultant victory puts Georgia in control of the SEC East.
Only one Georgia penalty had any real effect on the final score, a holding call that brought back a touchdown.
