ATHENS, Ga. – Georgia’s tight ends haven’t been targeted much the past two seasons. That should change this season under new offensive coordinator Jim Chaney.
Tight end Arthur Lynch had 30 receptions for the Bulldogs in 2013, when Georgia’s tight ends combined for 40 receptions. The tight ends combined for 31 catches in 2014 (Jeb Blazevich led with 18) and 28 last season (Blazevich led with 15).
Chaney, though, has made good use of his tight ends. Consider: He has been the offensive coordinator at three schools in the past five seasons (Tennessee, Arkansas and Pitt), and his No.
