With the Georgia Bulldogs latest 2019 commit, UGA once again overtook Alabama in this year’s recruiting battle.
Hutchinson Community College defensive lineman Tramel Walthour (6’4”, 277 pounds) confirmed he will enroll in Georgia this January after one semester of junior college.
Walthour, a former three-star recruit from Liberty County High in Hinesville, Georgia, had offers from Tennessee, Auburn, Ohio State and Arkansas. He originally committed to Georgia in February but after talk of a grey shirt year, decided to go the juco route.
Georgia finished with the No. 1 recruiting class in the country for 2018, and Walthour’s commitment has the Dawgs on their way to back-to-back top classes.
