For another week, Georgia won't see much sunshine on the gridiron.
The SEC announced that Georgia and Mississippi State will kick their Sept. 23 game off at 7 p.m. Georgia will host the game at Sanford Stadium, with it being televised by ESPN.
Despite being charter members of the SEC together, Georgia and Mississippi State have only played 23 times. Georgia holds a 17-6 all-time advantage.
This game will also feature the return of defensive coordinator Todd Grantham and safety Johnathan Abram back to Athens. Grantham, who is in his first year with Mississippi State, was Georgia's defensive coordinator from 2010-13.
