Coming off of a successful showing in the Wooden Legacy Tournament and a big road win at Marquette, Georgia returns to Stegeman Coliseum Tuesday night to take on the high scoring Winthrop Eagles.
The Bulldogs are 6-1 with their lone loss coming to San Diego State in the Wooden Legacy. They bounced back from that loss with a win over a ranked Saint Mary’s team and then scored another impressive road victory at Marquette this past Saturday.
The Bulldogs used a balanced offensive attack against the Golden Eagles including freshman Rayshaun Hammonds and Teshaun Hightower who both converted some clutch free throws down the stretch.
