Georgia Lands Four-Star Defensive Back Commit

Georgia dove into the local junior college ranks and flipped a prized, four-star cornerback.

D.J. Daniel, a 2nd year Georgia Military College defensive back, who has been committed to South Carolina since August, announced today he has committed to Georgia.

The 6 foot, 180-pound Griffin, Georgia native is considered the #2 rated JUCO cornerback and the #10 overall rated JUCO in the nation. Daniel has nearly 30 offers from major programs.

In 10 games this season, Daniel has three interceptions and 26 tackles for the 5-4 GMC Bulldogs. Daniel says his experience at Georgia Military College gave him the chance to grow not only as an athlete, but grow his character as well.
