Georgia used a balanced effort offensively to capture their first conference win defeating Ole Miss 71-60 Wednesday night at Stegeman Coliseum.
This wasn’t the prettiest performance we have seen from the Bulldogs this season but they will surely take it as they even their conference record at 1-1. Georgia got off to a cold start offensively and trialed 8-4 five minutes into the game. The Bulldogs finally found a bit of a rhythm offensively and used a 13-3 spurt to go up 17-11.
Turnovers and defensive lapses would keep the Rebels close however. Ole Miss tied the game at 26-26 with 3:44 remaining in the first half.
