ATHENS, Ga. — Georgia inside linebacker Reggie Carter, who missed Sunday’s win at South Carolina, was a full participant at the Bulldogs’ Tuesday practice.
Smart said earlier in the day that Carter was cleared to play last week and was ready as an “emergency guy.” But he wasn’t used, mostly because sophomores Natrez Patrick and Roquan Smith played so well.
Carter worked with the inside linebacker group during individual drills and with the second-team defense during seven-on-seven drills.
Sophomore defensive end Jonathan Ledbetter also practiced; he missed the first six games because of a suspension.
