Georgia will no longer continue to employ Mark Richt as its head football coach, but there is a chance that he remains part of the university. Monday, Richt, speaking to the media for the first time since his firing, told reporters that he has been offered a position by the school, but hasn’t decided whether he will accept it.
He added later that he doesn’t necessarily want to stop coaching.
Mark Richt says goodbye. Would like to remain in Athens & says his future has yet to be determined.
