It's been almost two years since a Georgia football player was arrested on a felony charge. That is, until early this morning. That's when freshmen Julian Rochester and Chad Clay were each arrested and booked into the Athens-Clarke jail for possession of a weapon in a school zone and criminal damage to property. Both were still in custody as of 7:00 am, which makes sense given that the weapons charge is a nonbondable offense.
The facts of the incident are still coming out, but early reports had the two shooting solo cups with a BB gun in their dorm room, and doing damage to the walls and door in the process.
