ATHENS, Ga. — Georgia freshman Robert Beal went through his first practice with the Bulldogs on Wednesday and worked with the outside linebackers.
Academic issues caused a late enrollment for Beal, who was one of the top-110 prospects in the 2017 recruiting cycle.
During the open portion of Wednesday’s practice, Beal went through an individual drill where the linebackers were trying to get separation from the blocker and also did some work on the blocking sled.

Wednesday was the first time that the Bulldogs were in shoulder pads; they had been in just in shorts, helmets and jerseys the first two days.
