Rochester, from Powder Springs (Ga.) McEachern, enrolled in January, and as an early enrollee, he spoke to the media at Wednesday’s National Signing Day news conference. He noted that this was Georgia’s second consecutive top-10 class.
“We’re fixing to be the next big thing I feel like,” Rochester said. “We’re fixing to win the SEC championship and go on our way to a national champion.I just feel it in my heart. Combine the 2015/2016 class(es)? I feel like it’s going to be unstoppable. I just really feel like it is.”
The Bulldogs haven’t won the SEC since 2005 and haven’t won a national title since 1980.
