Georgia football took on its first cupcake game of the season as the Dawgs hosted Murray State last weekend. It was the home opener of the 2019 and when the University of Georgia unveiled Dooley Field at Sanford Stadium.
While it was a hot one in the Classic City, the Dawgs stayed hot all game long putting up 63 points. Georgia got to play a lot of folks on both sides of the ball and it gave some young folks time on the field.
Here are the good and bad takeaways from the home opener as the Dawgs did far more good than bad.
