The war between Alabama and Georgia football on the recruiting trail is just heating up. In 2018, Kirby Smart and the Dawgs stole the Tide’s thunder by flipping commits and taking the no. 1 recruiting class, ending the Tide’s seven-year reign at the top.
A couple of weeks ago, Georgia leapfrogged several schools, including Alabama with four commitments for 2019. The cherry on top was Jermaine Johnson, a junior college star from Minnesota. But Alabama isn’t going to go down easily. Last week, they received a commitment from four-star offensive guard Darrian Dalcourt.
