After a few weeks of practice this Saturday Georgia Football had its first scrimmage practice of fall camp. The players did not get their first live experience in the comforts of the new indoor practice facility. Instead, they played out in Sanford Stadium and there’s no doubt that the heat seemed to get to them. Kirby Smart spoke after the session and was stressing that the heat had caused some players some issues.
He didn’t make any excuses for them however. With the first game less than 20 days away, players are going to have to improve their conditioning and be ready.
