The offensive line had its ups and downs on Saturday vs. Appalachian State. While the team was able to rush for 221 yards against the Mountaineers, there were way too many negative or no gain plays where the offensive line had zero push. The pass protection overall was fairly good, however. Appalachian State’s defensive front may be the smallest Georgia faces all season. Those plays where the offensive line couldn’t push the Mountaineers around has given some fans to worry if Georgia fans may be in for another long year of subpar offensive line play. The unit will certainly get a good test this weekend when the Dawgs travel to play Notre Dame on Saturday night.
