A few weeks ago I wondered what the deal was with the not playing A.J. Turman. After Nick Chubb went down for the year, it seemed likely we would see more of Turman because, honestly, his between-the-tackles skill set seemed the best suited to step up and make a solid contribution to the running game.
However, what we’ve seen is no Turman and, according to coach Mark Richt, don’t hold your breath.
Richt basically ruled out the notion that redshirt running back A.J. Turman adding depth to Georgia’s run game.
