With Mike Bobo and Will Friend at Colorado State and Tony Ball now the wide receivers coach at LSU, only the tight end position with John Lilly at the helm offers continuity to the position from last year.
Georgia brings back both Jeb Blazevich and Jay Rome, who were the two key contributors at the position last season.
They also brought in freshman Jackson Harris, who enrolled in January. Redshirt sophomore Jordan Davis also led the Bulldogs in the spring game with 74 receiving yards and a touchdown.
With new offensive coordinator Brian Schottenheimer’s pedigree of successful tight ends in the NFL, the Georgia crop is excited about working with him.
