Camp Sunshine means a lot to Kirby Smart. Years ago, his brother Karl was diagnosed with leukemia and camped there. After his recovery, he was a counselor and a regular visitor and Kirby has kept on coming. Chip Towers from Dawgnation.com wrote a great article yesterday about Smart’s relationship with the camp. He did so in response to the Georgia Football team making their most recent visit to the camp.
The Dawgs have long visited the camp as a team. Kirby Smart has arranged for this year’s version to come for two different days.
